Being a FAN not only lets us know that you care, it also gives you a way to tell us what you think about us, and most importantly it is a way for you to help us further our ministry to everyone who comes through the gate.
Here are some ways you can be a FAN of Montreat:
F: Be a Follower -- Keep up with what's happening at the Conference Center all year-round. You might just learn about a conference or event you didn't know about before.
- If you've gotten this far, you're obviously aware that we have a blog. Check back often for news, events and tips, or subscribe to our updates using "Subscribe to Posts" button in the left-hand column. If you don't know how to do this, send me an email and I will help you out.
- Become our fan on Facebook for new updates, videos and news. Comment on our postings (or "like" them) too.
- Follow us on Twitter. You might win free stuff (see below).
- Check out the Montreat Hub. At this page you can see everything that's happening on Facebook, on Twitter, on our Blogs, and more--all in one place.
- Subscribe to the Montreat E-Newsletter. You will receive information about upcoming conferences, special rates and other events.
A: Be an Advocate -- If you love Montreat as much as we think you do, then you probably already talk about it. In fact, some of you probably have friends who wish you would stop talking about it, so here are some other things to consider.
- Find new places to talk about Montreat. Maybe during a "Minute for Mission" at your church, or any time you need to give a speech at school or at a meeting.
- Volunteer to become a Montreat Bridge. Get more information here.
- If you ever hear someone say, "I'm looking for a place to have our retreat/conference/meeting/seminar/gathering..." don't forget to recommend Montreat, and send them to our event planning information.
N: Be a Neighbor -- Neighbors support those close to them with their time, their prayers and their work. Help us to make this "place set apart" special for all of God's people.
- Give us feedback. Did you love your Montreat Experience? Was something not quite right? Tell us! See what people are saying about their experiences, and let us know what you think.
- Get involved. Part of what makes Montreat run is its team of wonderful volunteers. See if there's a project that's right for you, and dive in. Or, join the Montreat Summer Staff and help out with conferences and "clubs" programs all summer long!
- Pray for the ministry of Montreat Conference Center.
